Jane Haproff (Guest Speaker)

Jane Haproff (Guest Speaker)- Jane was my favorite speaker but i think it has something to do with her topic. She talked about religion and depending on the background that one comes from shapes their perspective of life and how they live it. Sense im a christian this became the most important speech to me because of this shared faith. I truly believe that being attacted to a religion giving direction and purpose to one's life gives a sense of responsibility to preserve and conserve nature.

She began talking about what life would be like with out laws and order to live by. She defined the word, " chaos," by making a point of how it would be if we didnt have laws.
She talked about the fact the usa was founded on religion and how their had to be order to live.
the perfect example was the ten commdments.

She defined all the reglions because some of their concepts do differ from one another. I was very interested in hearing about my religion (Christianity) because she stated that the religion takes all the good concepts from every religion in one. It was nice to hear and i completely agree that their are good concepts to most of the religions.
