Benefits of the class***

I have truly enjoy this class. am aware of all my bad habits, wasteful habits, things i could do to make a difference, how the United States/world works when it comes to these issues, how important every species is and its function in society. The list goes on and on this all the beneifical information i have learned. This class has giving me the knowledge to pass on to others and help out with United States lifestyle behaviors. I have already bought the alumiunm water bottle to cut down on my plastic consumtion and ive also bought a reuseable bag to take for shopping at stores so i dont have to use paper bags or pastic bags anymore. I also have future plans this month. My boyfriend and i are starting a garden this April/May. We both bought tomatoe seeds, green beans seeds, cilantro seeds, red leave lettue seeds and spinach seeds to start this garden. I think its a wonderful idea and way more nutrients to have a garden and not only that it will cut cost down from have to shop at the store. Im so glad to have taken this class because in the back of my head ive always wanted to be apart of something that gives back or helps out the society and earth. I feel as if i can alter some of the behaviors and lifestyle prefrers to a more sustaniable way in going about it. Im so glad to know that this class is even offered at Sierra College. This class has opened my eyes to alot of unseen things of this world. I truly believe there's always room for improvement.

INT class has (opened my eyes)

This class has really opened up my eyes to my wasteful life style and exposed me to material that ive never heard before. Im very thankful that Sierra College has a class like this. I think every high school should have this class to open their eyes at even a younger age because as one gets older people as not as open like they are at a yougher age. The older people i noticed are more set in their ways and i would consiter less moldable to change. This class has helped me realize their are many little things a could do to not waste as much as the average American usually does. For example, instead of buying the cheaper throw away razrs that cost $2 i would spend alittle more for a reuseable razr that last and all i would do is buy the interchangeable blades if it gets dull. This way its less waste, cuts down on my pastic consumtion and last longer. The price will be alittle more like 10 bucks but ill be able to get my moneys worth out of it. Secondly this is another idea im going to switch to that will also cut down on my pastic consumtion. I will buy the cloth reuse bags for grocery stores so i wont have to use their plactic or paper bags anymore. The one thing that will be my challege is cutting down on my meat consumtion of chicken. That seems to be my weakness. Ive truly enjoyed this class so much that im thinking of joining a environmental club first then maybe in the future a comittee of some sort. Thank you Mrs Keely for taking the time and giving your energy to teaching this class. Im sure many students arent going to say much regarding your efforts but you know their thinking it. Once again thank you.
